Playson enhances Hold and Win collection via new Lion Gems online slot; confirms ICE London 2022 participation
After recently confirming its commitment to participate at ICE London 2022, leading game developer Playson has enhanced its collection of Hold and Win games, with the release of the new title, Lion Gems: Hold and Win, with Wilds, Scatters, and a feature that comes with four jackpots.
According to Playson, the “engrossing animal-themed design” will “captivate players, guaranteeing strong engagement and retention figures.”
Gameplay & features:
Delivering an immersive playing experience, the African-themed online slot has medium-high variance and a 95.55 percent RTP while playing out on a 5-reel, 4-row field with 30 ways to win.
A vast savanna is where the game takes place and where African acacia trees serve as Scatter symbols and a fearless lion acts as the Wild, who fairly shares all of his resources with his servants through Extra Spins mode and Bonus Games with Hold and Win mechanic. The Lion Wild substitutes for all symbols except for the Scatter and Bonus while the Lion Wild x2 doubles the win of each payline that it’s a part of.
Here, Bonus symbols present as shimmering diamonds and landing at least three Scatters (an acacia tree backed by a setting sun on the horizon) triggers eight Extra Spins. During that feature, players will earn a x2 multiplier for Stacked Wilds to boost win potential. Players are also able to trigger the exciting Bonus Games either by collecting six Bonus symbols or via the exclusive Diamond Peak feature, which provides them with a welcome surprise!
Jackpot action:
There are four types of in-game Jackpots in the Bonus Game, Mini, Minor and Major, each of which offers its own unique prize, while the Grand Jackpot is awarded if a player fills all 20 empty cells with Bonus symbols and it is worth 3,000x the stake.
Ramping up the excitement of the Bonus Game even further is the Mystery symbol, which appear as prism diamonds and changes into one of the three jackpots and ensures that players receive one of the three jackpot’s prizes.
Commenting on the new game, Vsevolod Lapin, Head of Product for Playson, said…
“Our Hold and Win games are constantly received well by our fans, we’re always happy to extend this remarkable collection of ours.
“Lion Gems: Hold and Win takes our animal-themed Hold and Win offering a step further, with an impressive eye-catching design and exciting additions, such as the amazing Diamond Peak Feature.”
ICE London 2022:
As mentioned, the launch follows Playson’s announcement that it will indeed be participating at one of the industry’s largest trade conferences, ICE London 2022, at ExCeL London, where its commercial and account management team will guide delegates through the Malta-headquartered company’s premium games and promotional tools offering.
The three-day event is set to take place between April 12th and 14th and Playson will be showcasing its latest range of products at stand N5-110.
Enhancing the visit, the online slots specialist is even offering delegates the chance to experience a Playson Tournament, while also being able to give a mega Wheel of Fortune a spin, and possibly take home a range of gifts to bring their experience at ICE 2022 to the next level.
Chief Commercial Officer for Playson, Tamas Kusztos, said…
“The recent weeks have been very challenging for the company; however, we have remained resilient and have continued to function as normal.
“Despite this period of uncertainty, we are determined to attend ICE 2022 and exhibit our full offering. We’re proud to say that we will carry on with our original plans and will be able to meet our friends in London.”
According to Playson, a big part of their team is based in Ukraine and many of them remain there even now. The company “strongly condemns” the Russian military invasion into the country on February 24, 2022.
